Nestled in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn, Sahadi’s is more than just a spot to grab a meal — it’s an immersive experience that beautifully blends a gourmet grocery store, a café, a lively restaurant, and an intimate live music venue all under one roof. Celebrated for its authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors, Sahadi’s offers a sensory journey that attracts food enthusiasts, casual diners, and locals alike.
Step inside, and the enticing aroma of freshly grilled meats paired with earthy spices invites you to savor their signature dishes. The Sahadi’s Mixed Grill Platter is an absolute must-try: an artful assortment of succulent grilled steak shawarma, tender chicken shawarma, and flavorful lamb merguez, served with warm, pillowy pita bread, creamy hummus, and refreshing tabbouleh salad. Each bite is a masterclass in seasoning and texture, where smoky char meets vibrant herbs, creating a harmony of flavors that lingers long after the meal.
If you prefer a more focused experience, the Grilled Steak Shawarma and Grilled Chicken Shawarma dishes are equally impressive, boasting marinated, juicy meat cubes that burst with Sahadi’s unique seasoning blend. For those with a sweet tooth, treats like the elusive Pistachio Flan and the exotic Leonessa Dubai Chocolate Bar offer delightful finishes that feel lovingly curated.
Sahadi’s menu also shines with lighter bites like the freshly made Falafel Sandwich and house favorites such as Bacon Wrapped Dates—a perfect marriage of savory and sweet. Even kids are catered for with delicious options like the Hummus Sandwich and Pita Pizza, making it a welcoming spot for the whole family.
But Sahadi’s charm extends beyond the plate. The atmosphere exudes warmth and familiarity—a rare respite from the usual bustle of Brooklyn. As “venturalalala” attests, the service feels like catching up with a caring grandparent, where genuine hospitality is heartfelt and unhurried. Meanwhile, “Julie Thum” highlights the delight of sitting to the rhythm of a live jazz trio, creating a vibrant yet relaxed backdrop that enchants diners during brunch or evening gatherings.
For those who love to explore global flavors at home, Sahadi’s gourmet grocery selection is a treasure trove of culinary gems—from prized Madagascar vanilla beans and exquisite Lebanese olive oil to specialty spices like rose water and za’atar chicken. Food lovers like “Andrew Abi-Mansour” praise the extensive variety of fresh baked goods, dried fruits, and Middle Eastern staples that bring the rich traditions of the region right to Brooklyn’s doorstep.
The beverage program is equally thoughtfully curated. Their cocktail menu showcases classics with a worldly twist—the crisp acidity of a Mango Margarita, the bold warmth of a Manhattan made with Fort Hamilton Double Barrel Bourbon, or a sophisticated Negroni crafted with house-made Forthave Gin and Apertivo. And if you’re stopping by for a lighter moment, the window bar is perfect for grabbing a perfectly poured latte to go, as “Stephanie Cheng” affectionately notes.
With a convivial vibe highlighted by shady outdoor seating beneath Brooklyn’s best breezes, Sahadi’s is a sanctuary of authentic tastes, friendly faces, and memorable moments. Whether you come for a leisurely meal, a quick gourmet grocery run, or a night of live music paired with expertly crafted drinks, Sahadi’s promises a deeply satisfying experience that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Excellent food, exceptional service, relaxing vibe, reasonable price. Being a New Yorker you’re somewhat used to people being impatient and indifferent. That’s why I couldn’t believe what I heard after I made the reservation call: it felt like telling your grandpa you’ll be visiting for dinner and he said he couldn’t wait to see you. From the call to being served in the restaurant, Sahadi’s customer service is exceptionally warm and genuine. Everyone is happy with their food: so tasty, flavorful, and well-displayed. I had chicken shawarma, orange blossom coconut flan, pumpkin ale, and I can’t wait to come back and try more. Their handmade pita is a gem and you can get it from their store just next to the restaurant. Sahadi’s is now my favorite restaurant in Industry City. Thank you for making our Friday night so memorable!
AMAZING food. We had the most delicious brunch. Truly outstanding. Love everything but their labneh & everything Lavash flatbread crackers are something I always make a trip to buy. Today we had a special treat because there was a jazz trio playing there & they were just great too. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet the owners at an event & thanked them for their food in person. Well, I’m thanking them again for what they bring not only to IC, but to Brooklyn. If you haven’t been, then you MUST go.
I love that you can just order a latte at the window bar. The grocery store has everything you need including Madagascar vanilla beans and Lebanese olive oil. They even have Moroccan beer and they’re getting Lebanese beer. Everyone is super friendly here and they have the best breeze and trees that you can sit under.
My falafels were made fresh in front of me and tasted terrific. The baguette was also wonderfully fresh. The employees here were kind and helpful. Overall, I love that I can get all the Atlantic Ave. Sahadi's classics, but much closer to me.
This is an excellent grocery store that offers Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Lebanese food. This includes freshly baked pita bread, manakish, sweets, kibble, tabbouleh, and a lot more dishes. Their dried fruit selection is also big and delicious.
Right near my favorite artists supply store, Artists and Craftsman. I love to shop for my olive oil here. Know where your going because it can be a hike to find out how to get access into these buildings. There is street parking but too is metered unless your parked in the residen which then it will be alternate. Great place to chill, shop and eat. Very Urby!
If you want fresh groceries and a great lunch while you shop this is the place to go, the best hummus I ever had, a huge variety of coffee, nuts and so much more, they make their bread fresh, I think I made a mistake I went to the one in Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn, it is the one I always go to...
Tasty food, good wine, a fun environment with good music. I thought the service was good and it was a nice indoor/outdoor location.
